About The Client
They are a creative design studio, based on the Gold Coast, Australia.
My Role
First of all, I was their full-time UI/UX designer for over a year. I was the only designer in the studio so along with this project I was also carrying out other projects. My role was usually creating the UI and designing Lo-Fi wireframes.
The Problem
The current website was outdated.
Users lose their focus to buying a service on the website.
Accessibility issues and too many color variations.
Lack of consistency.
The Solution
Update the UI along with the new layout.
Improve the UX for a better experience and led the users to get contact to buy a service easily.
Check the colors for better readability and change the colors if needed.
Create a new reusable component library.
To Achieve This
To start solving the existent problems first, I had to make some research and read some articles to create better UX along with the minimal UI design. In the researching process, I get the competitors' information from my PM. Then looked in the competitors' websites to get some data and took what I could add to the website I will design. And then I did some sketching on a paper to create a solid layout. Then I designed Lo-Fi wireframes for the main pages and used the feedback to refine my wireframes and narrow down my solutions for the Hi-Fi mockups.
